Nyree + Sean’s Love Story

A word from Monica:

This wedding is so very dear to my heart, as I watched my Bubba marry his love, Nyree.

Nyree's family's cultural and religious traditions were such an important part of their wedding day. Learning these and being able to immerse ourselves in such a beautiful culture while celebrating and merging our families was a wonderful gift.

Favorite moments from the day are abundant:

• Seeing Nyree’s Nana beautifully dressed in her wheelchair, smiling so broadly

• Nyree's Dada, proudly escorting her out of their family home

• Sending off green balloons after the ceremony in honor of Nyree's dad Sako. The balloons tangled into the treetops as if Sako didn't want to leave his daughters precious day

• The quiet tenderness between Sean + Nyree as they danced

• Of course, full circle moment of our Mama + son dance
